What to Expect

Relationships are where we go to feel understood, supported, and connected.
But when something begins to shift, the distance can feel incredibly heavy.

You might find yourselves:

• Having the same argument over and over again
• Struggling to communicate without things escalating
• Feeling misunderstood or shut down
• Noticing a growing emotional distance
• Walking on eggshells to avoid conflict

The person who once felt like your safest place now feels harder to reach.

Maybe you’re lying awake at night wondering how things got here.

You remember when things felt easier—
when you felt like a team,
when connection came naturally.

Now, even simple conversations can feel overwhelming.

Or maybe the disconnection is quieter:

• Conversations stay surface-level
• Life feels routine, but emotionally distant
• There’s a quiet sense of loss for what once was

How did we lose this… and can we find our way back?

Many couples reach a point where the patterns feel too heavy to carry alone.

This is often where therapy begins.

Couples therapy is a space to slow things down and understand what’s happening beneath the surface.

Together, we will:

• Help both partners feel heard and understood
• Explore the patterns behind recurring conflict
• Identify deeper emotions beneath frustration or distance
• Build new ways of communicating and responding

Rather than focusing on blame, we focus on understanding—because meaningful change begins there.
